Badger Meter Europa GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of Badger Meter Inc., USA. Badger Meter Inc., was founded in 1905, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and has factories in Tulsa (Oklahoma), Nogales (Mexico) and Scottsdale (Arizona); it is employing worldwide more than 1450 people.
Badger Meter Europa GmbH was founded in 1972 as marketing office and registered in 1974 as GmbH (limited liability company) – with the main goal of building up a distributor network within Europe and the Middle East. End of 2001, Badger Meter Europa GmbH took over the worldwide responsibilities (except for North America) for sales and marketing of all corporate products. Badger Meter Europa GmbH opened own subsidiaries in Bratislava (Slovakia), Brno (Czech Republic), Singapore, Shanghai (China), Bern (Switzerland) and Dubai (UAE).
