THE BEGGINING
The idea of Backdoor Party began from Henry and Lenny Terron members of the band S.H.O.T. They both started inviting bands to play in their own rehearsal room. In the beginning the room seemed to be large enough to fit about 50 people, but the parties began to gain a proportion a little bigger than expected, so they were forced to pause the project.
A few months passed but the idea of Backdoor was still stuck in their heads, so suddenly they heard about the Orwohaus that immediately seemed to be an excellent place to renew their project.
WHAT THE MAIN PURPOSE OF BACKDOOR PARTY IS?
- Helping to create a musical scene for independent bands in Berlin;
- A meeting point in a place where bands can perform whenever they want;
- Give a chance for bands exchange experiences between themselves and to introduce their fans and friends to another band.
