LAGE EGAL is a non–commercial exhibition space ran by Berlin–based French Artist & Curator Pierre Granoux.
Since 2010 LAGE EGAL exists as an artist's studio as well as a place to experiment with different forms of display in close collaboration with artists and guest curators.
LAGE EGAL can be read identically from both sides, making it a perfect name for the space: Pierre Granoux also organizes off-site exhibitions in different locations, private and public spaces, in Berlin or anywhere else. LAGE EGAL translates from German to »location doesn't matter«, and it definitely doesn't: it is all about the quality of the artwork and the idea behind it.
