Welcome to KarlMUN!
Since April 2016 we are organising MUN conferences as a student initiative at RWTH Aachen University, Germany. In June 2016 we also founded a legal association which is registered at the responsible district court in Aachen.
The first conference with 120 delegates and 3 committees took place in Dezember 2016.
Based on the great success of the 2016 conference and the very positive feedback we got, we decided to run a second conference in 2017 with some changes - according to the feedback.
- The KarlMUN 2017 conference language will be English (instead of German); there will still be one committee held in German (see below)
- KarlMUN 2017 takes place in November instead of December
- KarlMUN 2017 starts on Thursday (previously Friday) and ends earlier on Sunday (approx. 16:00)
There will be three different committee types available at the 2017 KarlMUN conference:
- United Nations Security Council (English)
- The Light of the East (English)
(consists of three interacting panels)
- Menschenrechtsrat (German)
