The David J Apple International Laboratory for Ocular Pathology is a research laboratory founded by the late David J. Apple and housed in the Eye Department of Heidelberg University, Germany. The laboratory works closely with its clinical research counterpart in the Eye Department, the IVCRC (International Vision Correction Research Centre.) Prof. G U Auffarth MD PhD, Chairman of the Eye Department, heads the Apple Lab and IVCR.
