After BionX launched into the premium electric bicycle market in 2008, the brand quickly became synonymous with technological innovation and product quality. Today, many leading bicycle manufacturers in Europe and the United States, including Trek, Matra and Wheeler, offer products powered by BionX. The latest application of our technology is an exciting boating experience, the SeaScape 12 powered by BionX, which was launched in the spring of 2012.

Headquartered in Aurora, Canada, BionX International has over 100 employees in six locations and sales partners in over 15 countries. Our Aurora facility serves as the centre of global operations for sales, service, marketing, testing, sourcing and resident engineering. It is also home to the main BionX production and assembly plant, where our e-bike systems are produced and shipped to customers worldwide.

Advanced engineering and testing of BionX products are performed at BionX Europe GmbH, headquartered in Weiz, Austria, while our Sales & Service Centre for Europe is located near Munich, Germany. Sherbrooke, Quebec is home to our International Research & Development Centre, which continuously explores new concepts in electric mobility, and advances the development of BionX technology.
