The Montessori Method fosters independence and freedom within boundaries. It respects a child’s natural emotional, physical, and social development providing a program especially suited to the needs of the individual child. With materials that have been developed specifically for the Montessori Classroom, the method offers special attention to the holistic development of the child: emotionally, socially, intellectually and physically.
Dr. Montessori's educational theories are based on natural laws of development. These theories emphasize that each child experiences sensitive periods of learning during their lives and that it is important that they are exposed to an enriched environment.

Our family run preschool, licensed by the Regierung of Oberbayern, is located in a charming historic house with a home-like atmosphere.

We provide a program especially suited to the individual needs of children of all nationalities aged 2 ½ to 6 years with a ratio of two native English-speaking teachers per 15 children. The Montessori method, experienced teachers and an up to date child education approach are all part of our concept in compliance with the BayKiBiG. Knowledge of English is not necessary as we do speak German and for the child the language will come naturally with the daily routine and conversation in the groups.

The home-like atmosphere with friendly teachers, an inspiring environment as well as home cooked lunch (no catering) gives your child a feeling of comfort and well being. Field trips and extracurricular activities (e.g. swimming, skiing, horseback riding) add to the school experience!

The children are the center of attention in our Montessori prepared environment. As a result, children concentrate with enthusiasm and achieve a real and profound understanding of task oriented learning. The child friendly environment offers a variety of developmental areas: practical life, math, geography, science, music, sensorial, language, art, biology, nature, culture, social-emotional. In addition, we do offer German to children who need to Prepare for German school during the last year of kindergarten.

Here at English Montessori Preschool, we give your child a home away from home, where it feels warmth and comfort as well as learning in a motivated way with the Montessori method.

Unsere familiengeführter, von der Regierung Oberbayerns anerkannter Kindergarten ist in einem historischen Haus inmitten des schönen Laimer Villenviertels gelegen. Wir bieten einen englischsprachigen Tagesablauf, der speziell auf die Bedürfnisse von Kindern im Alter von 2 1⁄2 bis zur Einschulung angepasst ist. Kinder jeglicher Herkunft sind bei uns willkommen, englische Sprachkenntnisse sind nicht erforderlich, denn Ihr Kind wird sich ohne Probleme in der neuen Sprache zurechtfinden.

Ihr Kind kann sich mit unserem Konzept (unter Berücksichtigung des BayKiBiG), einfühlsamen Erzie- herinnen, der anregenden Umgebung, Vielfalt an altersgerechtem Materialien, sowie eigens zubereitetem Mittagessen (kein Catering) richtig wohlfühlen. Ausflüge und außerschulische Aktivitäten (z.B. Schwimmen, Skifahren, Reiten) bereichern den Alltag Ihres KIndes!
Zudem ermöglicht die Montessori Methode bei jedem Kind eine individuelle Vorgehensweise, die sich auf die emotionale, soziale, geistige und körperliche Entwicklung des Kindes bezieht.
Unsere stressfreie Umgebung bietet eine Vielzahl von Entwicklungsbereichen, aus denen Ihr Kind frei wählen kann: praktisches Leben, Mathematik, Geographie, Wissenschaft, Musik, sensorische Bereich, Sprache, Kunst, Biologie, Natur, Kultur, soziales Lernen und sozialer Umgang. Das Kind erreicht mit Begeisterung ein echtes und tiefgreifendes Verständnis für aufgabenorientiertes Lernen, begleitet durch emotionales Wachstum, und entwickelt für sich Unabhängigkeit, Selbstvertrauen, Selbstdisziplin sowie weitere wichtige Fähigkeiten für das spätere Leben.
