nelou.com is a platform to showcase young and independent fashion designers.

The fashion industry has changed dramatically over the last decade into a much more diverse and exciting, but also increasingly fast industry.
A lot of students who come out of University want to give their creativity a go and start their own label. This great pool of talent which has long been untapped creates a huge opportunity for changes in the industry. Besides that there's also a huge branch of independent designers who do not want to adjust to the throwaway-mentality of the fashion market. They don't focus on cheap production and fast turnover, but on high quality and sustainability.
Along with this we have noticed that also the consumers are becoming increasingly interested in fashion design that stands for quality and individuality as well as for good craftsmanship aside from mass production. Furthermore, consumers want to be able to get in touch with the designers and want to identify with them and with their labels.
nelou.com wants to get these two interest groups together on one plattform.

So after we have been on the scene for quite a while now, we are currently working on nelou.com even better!
